New partners join the consortium
iMIRACLI are delighted to announce the addition of the ESA Phi-Lab and the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology to the consortium. They will join with our other non-academic partners in providing a world-class doctoral experience for our students, hosting secondments and providing external supervisors.
Part of the European Space Agency, the ESA Phi-Lab's mission is to accelerate the future of Earth Observation (EO) by means of transformational innovations, i.e. innovations that completely transform or create entire industries via new technologies, with the aim to strengthen the world-leading competitiveness of the European EO industrial and research sectors.
The Max Planck Institute for Meteorology (MPI-M) is an internationally renowned institute for climate research. Its mission is to understand Earth's changing climate. Their founding director Klaus Hasselmann was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics 2021.
We are thrilled to have them both on board - welcome to the team!
