Plain-language Summaries

Plain language summaries make iMIRACLI research widely accessible

Last month our ESRs were set a challenge.  In order to share the great work that iMIRACLI is doing, each ESR was asked to write a plain-language summary (250 words or less) of their research project for inclusion on the website. It needed to be short, transparent, and explain their research to both members of the public and interested researchers and collaborators who are non-specialists in the field.

They have risen to the occasion, and our website will soon contain the relevant links to our new 'summaries' section. Have a read to discover what we are up to, including what's special about Arctic clouds, the relationship between clouds and volcanic eruptions, and how the cloud trails left behind by the passage of ships can help to predict future climate change more accurately.
